Job Summary

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager focused on operations, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in business development within the operations field.


  • Identify and target new business opportunities to expand the company’s operations portfolio.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies that could impact business opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales activities, pipeline, and business development strategies.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in business development within the operations field, with a minimum of X years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of operations processes and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary Range

£40,000 – £50,000 per annum
