Role Purpose

Customer service is the act of taking care of the customer’s needs by providing and delivering professional, helpful, high quality service and assistance before, during, and after the customer’s requirements are met. Customer service is meeting the needs and desires of any customer.

One of the key responsibilities of the Customer Services Supervisor is to provide their team with the required tools and support to complete their tasks to the best of their ability. It is also essential that the supervisor is able to review KPIs and metrics to determine the course of action within their team to improve not only the result but also the service provision. Additionally, the role requires a strong working relationship with both domestic transport and operations to provide the best all-round solution for our customers

Main Duties

To include, but not limited to

  • Supervision of a customer services team
  • Quality checks on customer paper work and manual bookings
  • Customer query response (Email and telephone)
  • Working closely across departments (Both Charter and Export/Import operations)
  • Raising spot quotes for customers
  • Customer facing telephone sales
  • Project work and KPI creation / monitoring

Education & experience

  • Experience within Freight Forwarding is essential for this position


£35,000 p/a
