We are looking for an ambitious and driven new member of staff to come and join our client. Previous experience in Freight Forwarding Sales is essential and being able to hit the ground running.

The Wakefield office is expanding, so an experience sales professional focused on building profit and revenue with customers is needed.

Our projects in the UK have been growing year on year, across events, military, industrial, and general forwarding, and despite the issues that have arisen in the industry as a direct response to COVID 19 pandemic our projects are continuing to grow. In the Wakefield, we are setting up a new team, so we are needing to recruit an experienced Sales Executive to come work with based in the Wakefield office.


  • Minimum 5-years’ experience
  • Can demonstrate negotiating skills and a working history within a freight forwarding sector, ideally coming from a background in, for example – military forwarding, industrial, large-scale entertainment, agriculture, and energy.
  • Proven track recording in successfully attaining and managing clients with high freight spend
  • Achieving new business revenue
  • Ability to understand financial, commercial and customer driven targets and objectives
  • Confidence and experience in negotiating at senior level
  • Positive and self-motivated
  • Can show knowledge and experience with Breakbulk, Cross-trade, and Multi-Modal transport (Air Road Sea Train etc)
  • Strong problem solver
  • Can work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as this role requires daily liaison with clients and suppliers.
  • You will be working with colleagues on industrial projects on a global scale and so being organised is vital.
  • You must be able to demonstrate good numeric and analysis skills
