Key Responsibilities

Preparing bookings ready for shipment
Track shipments and update & support clients in the shipment process
Deal with customer service enquiries and queries
Ensure any operational issues are documented and made aware to the reporting manager
Keeping clients SOP’s up to date
Assess invoice queries and check purchase invoices are correct on receipt
Acknowledge receipt of cargo through Bill of Lading documentation



Minimum two years’ experience within Ocean Freight Import
Knowledge of customs clearance procedures
Experience working for a Freight Forwarding company
A good team player
Possess the ability to handle & resolve any issues
Ability to work on own initiative
Excellent communication skills, written and verbally
Willingness to learn new systems and processes


Experience with China, Hong Kong & USA trade lanes
Multi-modal experience
Knowledge of ASM & Boxtop systems


High level of PC literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
