Job Title: Key Accounts – Air Exports

Location: London Heathrow

Job specification:

  • Provide excellent Customer Service and drive the same ethos throughout the business and team.
  • Interact with customers and develop long term relationships
  • Strive to meet & exceed customer’s expectations and encourage team members to do the same
  • Support with the retention of all current business
  • Actively communicate unique service features of Schenker to increase value add solutions to customers
  • Measure and evaluate the team performance & quality and the departments level of service to all customers
  • Ensure efficient response to customer issues & complaints.
  • Encourage commercial awareness amongst the team to support delivering upon agreed department targets including GP, Revenue and Volume Growth

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day to day operations within the Key Accounts department
  • Look for and implement operational efficiencies within the Key Accounts Department
  • Review and improvement of operational processes within the department
  • Review and implement SOP’s, work instructions, processes/procedure
  • The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • 4 years’ experience in airfreight and knowledge of air industry
  • Strong Customer Service and Operational skills are essential
  • Experience of running a small team (leadership skills)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and manage high workloads in challenging situations and meetings deadlines
  • Ability to make considered and consistent decisions
