Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the import process from start to finish, including documentation, customs clearance, and transportation logistics.
- Review and verify import documents, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
- Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions and update internal systems accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure proper coordination and alignment of import activities.
- Stay up to date with changes in import regulations and trade agreements to ensure compliance and optimize import processes.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns related to imports.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an Import Clerk or in a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of import procedures, customs regulations, and international trade practices.
- Familiarity with import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
- Proficiency in using import-related software systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary & Benefits
